Shepherd University Vocational Nursing Program, in sharing the mission of Shepherd University, is dedicated to preparing our students with specialized practical skills and knowledge that will qualify them as a vocational nurse. Our faculty believes that the practice of nursing is the provision of compassionate and holistic care, utilizing knowledge and skills.
As you may be aware, there is currently a significant shortage of nurses in the United States, and this shortage is expected to be increase within the next decade. Our LVN program will be a helpful addition to relieve this shortage. Also, graduates of the Shepherd University LVN program will have unlimited opportunities to provide quality nursing care in various health care settings, and achieving individual career goals.
