“And Jesus kept increasing in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men” Luke 2:52.
As Jesus grew, he did so both physically and socially; his was perfect growth. This perfect growth is what I desire for our students.
Physical development is mechanical, growth in stature and in size automatically for God. However, while God intended our bodies to grow as designed, we can help our bodies become stronger, healthier, more energetic, and more elegant. When we recognize our bodies are houses of the Holy Spirit, physical care becomes our joyful duty. The outside of a house tells a lot about who lives inside. I want my students to be physically neat, clean, healthy, and attractive inside and out.
